“我要向出席这次会议的专家、学者、教育工作者,特别是在中小学科学教育第一线的老师们、辅导员们学习、致敬!”当教育部关工委主任、原国家教委副主任邹时炎同志在2006年12月16日于北京召开的“首届全国中小学科学教育论坛”上诚挚地说出这句话时,台下响起了长时问的、热烈的掌声,人们由衷地敬重这位年逾古稀却依然为中国教育事业操劳的老人。这天的北京刮着大风,天气很冷,邹老却早早地赶到了会场,外表清瘦的他精神抖擞,态度随和。随后,本刊记者采访了这位仍然充满激情的老教育工作者。

People sincerely Respect this old man who is still over 70 years old but still working hard for China’s education. On this day, Beijing was battered with winds and the weather was very cold. Zou Lao rushed to the meeting early. He was very lean and he was very relaxed and at ease. Subsequently, this reporter interviewed the old educator who was still full of passion.
