在当代中国,随着农耕文明向工业文明的急剧变迁,大自然也在一步步远离艺术家的视野。在这样的时代背景中,杨昌碧这类绘画主题的选择即使不是独一无二的,也是并不多见的。在见过中国当代艺术太多的焦虑、苦闷和痛苦情绪的宣泄之后,当我面对杨昌碧“冬柳系列”风景油画作品时,骤然感到云开日出、心旷神怡。不可否认,消极情绪也是这个巨变时代许多人心中的真实存在,但那类作品非但不能带给我们超越困境的希望,反而会让我们陷入更深的绝望。杨昌
In contemporary China, with the drastic changes from the farming civilization to the industrial civilization, nature is also gradually away from the artist’s field of vision. In such a time-bound background, the choice of such themes of painting as Yang Changbi is rare, if not unique. After seeing the catharsis of anxiety, depression and painful emotions of too much contemporary Chinese art, when I faced the Yang Changbi “winter willow series ” landscape painting works, I suddenly felt relaxed and happy. It is undeniable that negative emotions are also true in the minds of many people in this era of great change.
