尼日利亚伊巴丹甘巴利试验站对中粒种及小粒种咖啡采摘前的绿色熟果喷洒浓度为50—500ppm的乙烯利。田间试验结果表明,农度为100ppm及100ppm以上的乙烯利能加速上述两个品种咖啡浆果在树上成熟一致性。小粒种咖啡在喷药后6—13天就熟透了,而中粒种咖啡则在喷药后9一17天熟透。
The ibandane-Gambari test station in Nigeria sprayed ethephon at a concentration of 50-500 ppm against green ripe fruit prior to medium and small-grain coffee harvesting. Field trials showed that ethephon at 100 ppm and above 100 ppm accelerated the ripening of the two varieties of coffee berries on the tree. Small grains of coffee 6 to 13 days after spraying cooked, and medium-sized coffee is sprayed in 9 to 17 days after ripe.
