In the Chinese version of “Dream of the Red Chamber”, Zhou often omits subject and predicate verbs, and frequently uses some semantic vague forms such as nouns, auxiliary words, adverbs, adjectives and auxiliary verbs. Through the comparative study between China and Japan, it is found that the syntax is mainly due to the rich grammatical forms of Japanese, which can be easily identified by the omission of the subject and the predicate verbs. However, the lack of these grammatical forms in Chinese often requires the emergence of subject and predicate verbs . In addition, in order to avoid being too overly straightforward and potentially leading to conflicts or controversies with others, or to show respect for each other, Japanese often uses semantic vague expressions. Japanese are good at using semantic vague expressions, may be affected by their language psychology, language thinking patterns and language thinking habits.
