《剑桥中华人民共和国史》是一部国外专家撰写的新中国国史。作者们运用大量的史料，力图准确客观地再现这一段的历史，但由于受其阶级立场、文化观念及思维方式的影响，某些观点和结论与事实不符，需要讨论，需要争辩。本文仅就其“中国对越战争”一章做一简要的评述。（一） History of the People’s Republic of China in Cambridge is a history of new China written by a foreign expert. The author tries to reproduce the history of this period accurately and objectively by using a lot of historical materials. However, due to the influence of his class standpoint, cultural concept and thinking mode, some of the views and conclusions are not in conformity with the facts and need to be discussed and need to be argued.
