成人的学习与普通学校青少年儿童的学习相比,有其特殊性.从成人教育的角度来说,只有充分尊重成人学习的特点,注重成人自学能力的培养,才能使成人的学习活动卓有成效。 一、成人的学习特点 成人的学习不同于普通学校当中青少年学生的学习。概括起来,有如下四点。 第一,成人学习的本质性特点——在职性 和正规的学校教育相比,成人所接受的教育主要是通过业余的或脱产、半脱产的方式进行的。对在职的干部、职工、农民等成人来说,大多数人不能坚持长期脱产学习。由于在职,他们不可能象中小学生一样完全脱产,一心学习十几年。他们要工作,有生产任务、工作任务;他们要交往,有多种多样的社会交往活动,他们有家庭,要担当起家庭的责任。因此,在职性是成人学习的本质特点。
