《归乡行》是一盆三干的老榆桩配之龟文石而成的水旱盆景,虽有不足之处,但也颇见作者的功力。以图片而言,临水枝处理的确不尽人意,就象有的同志所言“风格极不统一”,“显得极其呆板,缺少生气”。这些评语虽然偏激一些,但不无道理。从图可知临水枝造型手法与主干(中干)和右干是不协调的。后二者形态较灵动自然,富有生机,属于自然形的造型;临水枝修剪得过于整齐,闷闷乎就象块馒头,属于云片式的造型。由于二者之间造型手法不一,所以看起来就不太顺眼协
