德阳市情德阳是改革开放后建立的一座新兴工业城市,1983年建市,辖旌阳区、广汉市、什邡市、绵竹市、中江县、罗江县,幅员面积5954平方公里,人口382万。建市二十三年来,德阳坚持工业强市和对外开放,经济保持持续快速发展,2006年全市国内生产总值539.2亿,财政总收入70．7亿,经济总量居四川省第三位。德阳在四川,在中国西部比较优势突出,充满着发展的生机与活力。
Deyang City Deyang is a new industrial city established after the reform and opening up. In 1983, the city was established and under the jurisdiction of Jingyang District, Guanghan City, Shifang City, Mianzhu City, Zhongjiang County and Luojiang County, with a total area of 5,954 square kilometers and a population of 3.82 million. Twenty-three years since the establishment of the city, Deyang insisted on a strong industrial city and opening up to the outside world. The economy maintained a sustained and rapid economic growth. In 2006, the city’s GDP was 53.92 billion yuan, with a total fiscal revenue of 7.07 billion yuan and a third-largest economy in Sichuan. Deyang in Sichuan Province, with its comparative advantage in western China, is full of vigor and vitality of development.
