《语文课程标准》明确提出:语文教学应“在发展语言能力的同时,发展思维能力,激发想象力和创造潜能。逐步养成实事求是、崇尚真知的科学态度,初步掌握科学的思想方法。”纵观小学语文教材,涉及到科学的文章很多,无不闪烁着耀眼的科技之光。对于这类文章,如果只对文字上分析,而忽视了对学生科学知识、科学思想的培养,就会遏止学生对科学知识的兴趣。况且这些科学内容知识面广、科学性强,与语文学科具有紧密和显著
“Chinese Curriculum Standard” clearly states: Chinese teaching should “develop language ability, develop thinking ability, stimulate imagination and create potential, and gradually develop a scientific attitude of seeking truth from facts and advocating true knowledge, and initially master the scientific method of thinking.” "Looking at the primary language teaching materials, many articles related to science, all flashing a dazzling light of science and technology. For such articles, if only the text analysis, while ignoring the students scientific knowledge, scientific thinking, will curb students’ interest in scientific knowledge. Moreover, these scientific contents have a wide range of knowledge, strong science and close and significant relationship with Chinese subjects
