两千多年来,儒法两条路线的斗争,深刻地影响到我国社会的各个方面,也影响着科学技术(包括数学)的发展。伟大领袖毛主席指出:“中国是世界文明发达最早的国家之一”。我国的数学,已有近三千年的历史。数学的发展,也像其他事物的发展一样,是波浪式的。通过批林批孔运动,以及对数学史的初步学习,使我们进一步看到,古代数学发展过程中每一个高潮的出现,几乎都和历史上儒法两家的尖锐斗争息息相关,紧密联系。数学上每一项重大成果的发明,都是冲破了儒家守旧、唯心主义和形而上学的反动思想的影响和束缚才取得的。我们从金、元时期我国著名数学家李冶的事迹,就可以清楚地了解到儒法两条路
For more than two thousand years, the struggle between the two lines of Confucianism and Legalism has profoundly affected all aspects of our society and has also affected the development of science and technology (including mathematics). The development of mathematics, like the development of other things, is wave-like.
