新形势下,大学英语的教学必须注重学生能力的提升。但是传统的英语教学方法已经难以满足现阶段对学生能力的培养的需求,大学教学目标无法很好地实现。大学英语课程教学要求培养学生的听、说、读、写、译基本语言能力,培养大学生语言输出能力,顺应英语教学改革需求,促进英语教学质量的提升。在外语教学理论中,听、读表示的是从外部取得英语信息一个过程,也就是语言输入;说、写、译指的是向外界表达信息的一个过程,也就是语言输出。在学习语言的时候,输入和输出都是非常重要的环节,二者存在紧密的联系;输入是基础,输出结果。
Under the new situation, college English teaching must pay attention to the improvement of students’ abilities. However, the traditional method of English teaching has been difficult to meet the current demand for the cultivation of students’ abilities. The teaching goals of universities can not be well achieved. College English teaching requires students to develop basic language skills such as listening, speaking, reading, writing and translating. Students should be able to cultivate their language output ability and adapt to the needs of English teaching reform so as to promote the improvement of English teaching quality. In the theory of foreign language teaching, listening and reading represent a process of acquiring English information from the outside, that is, inputting of words. Speaking, writing, and translating refer to the process of expressing information to the outside world, that is, language output. When learning a language, input and output are all very important links, there is a close relationship between the two; input is the basis for outputting the result.
