【正】 高宇同志《我国导演学的拓荒人汤显祖》一文(见《戏剧艺术》1979年第一期),对于人们认识汤显祖在戏剧领域内多方面的成就,对于纠正“多少年来一些戏曲理论家们造成一种错误的成见,认为汤显祖不甚懂得曲调的格律,误解他所说的:‘余意所至,正不妨拗折天下人嗓子’”,是很有帮助的。但是高宇同志据此提出:汤显祖是我国戏曲导演学的拓荒人,及其剧作腔调原为宜黄腔,笔者认为还是值得商榷的。兹提出看法如下:
