The authors investigated the role of α 1 -adrenoceptors in the secretion of corticotropin-releasing hormone (CRH) in the hypothalamus during stress. The rats were injected intracerebroventricularly with α_1-adrenergic agonist-methoxyamine or its inhibitor-prazosin before rats were treated with colchicine. The content of CRH in the central elevated part was analyzed by immunohistochemistry. In the 40μm free-floating stage, immunohistochemical staining was performed using CRH-specific polyclonal antibody and peroxidase technology. the first time
