学习动机是直接推动学生进行学习的心理动因,是英语学习成败的关键。高职院校学生对英语兴趣平平,作为英语教师了解和激发培养学生的英语学习动机,充分发挥学生学习的积极性和主动性,对指导英语教学具有十分重要的意义。本文结合了应用语言学动机理论和几年的英语教学实践,论述了动机在英语学习中的作用及在英语教学中如何激发学生学习动机。
Learning motivation is a direct motivation for students to learn, the key to the success or failure of English learning. Students in vocational colleges have a common interest in English. As an English teacher, understanding and stimulating students’ motivation in English learning and giving full play to the enthusiasm and initiative of students are of great significance to instructing English teaching. This paper combines the theory of applied linguistic motivation and several years of English teaching practice, expounds the role of motivation in English learning and how to stimulate students’ motivation in English teaching.
