Radionuclides in building materials are mainly derived from uranium, thorium and natural potassium. It not only constitutes the indoor gamma radiation field, but also is one of the main sources of indoor helium and its daughters. People spend 80% of their time indoors, so the content of radionuclides in building materials is very close to people’s lives. In recent years, a large amount of industrial waste has been used for the production of building materials, and some construction materials have been emitted.
