In this paper, we establish a computational model of two-dimensional soil water-heat flow using the alternating-direction implicit finite difference method (ADI) to study strip-shaped soil cover. The model uses the soil surface energy balance equation to determine the boundary conditions of the soil surface under heat and water flow.
