在适宜的照射时期内,40Gy以上的剂量即可有效地抑制大蒜发芽叶和芽内真叶的生长.统计分析表明,40、70、100、150、200、400、600Gy各剂量间抑制发芽的效果无显著差异;随着贮藏期的延长,400、600Gy处理减少重量损失的效果比低剂量更为明显:贮藏至年底,选用40Gy的剂量为宜,如贮藏至翌年,则用400或600Gy的较高剂量更好;γ射线对“狄特”和“迎春”两个不同类型的大蒜品种的抑芽效果差异不大,但“迎春”大蒜的贮藏效果优于“狄特”大蒜.
