In the 1990s, various companies will have to adapt to three trends: full financing shifts to human capital, weakened middle management, and reduced labor supply. In the industrial era, the company’s strategic resources are money and machines; in today’s information age, strategic resources must also include information, knowledge, and creativity. Therefore, to measure whether a company is the basic standard of a new company lies in whether the company regards people as the most important resource and a decisive factor for competitiveness. The most radical slogan in the past was: “People first, benefit second,” and now it is gradually changing to “pay equal attention to people.” Now that we have seen a decline in the role of middle management, the mode of management institutions is shifting from the past to the flat pyramid type. Computers gradually replaced the work of system administrators, and self-management gradually replaced the management of others.
