Just a few years ago, globalization of the world economy appeared to be an irresistible trend. “The world is flat” has not only become the name of a book, but has also become the slogan of the entire world. However, a series of landmark events in 2016 such as the Brexit in Britain, the election of U.S. President Trump, the failure of the Italian referendum, and the departure of France by the United Kingdom have made anti-globalization intensified in the context of the global economic growth. So where exactly will the global economy go? Where will the global economic globalization go? We will probably find the answer to the “Belt and Road” Forum on International Cooperation to be held in mid-May in China.
