采用Cederholm的方法测定了23例脑梗塞患者和23例对照者周围胰岛素敏感性。脑梗塞患者具有高胰岛素血症、糖耐量减低和降低的胰岛素敏感性（P＜0．001）。表明在中度高原地区脑梗塞发生亦与胰岛抵抗有关。
The insulin sensitivity of 23 patients with cerebral infarction and 23 controls was measured using the Cederholm method. Patients with cerebral infarction have hyperinsulinemia, impaired glucose tolerance and decreased insulin sensitivity (P <0.001). This suggests that cerebral infarction is also associated with islet resistance in moderately highland areas.
