从上古先民口耳相传先辈们的故事,到现代社会利用录音、录像技术口述自传,口述史历经社会文明的演变,重又进入人们的视域。作为一种独立的史学叙述手段,现代意义上的口述史与原来的口承传统已有了明显区别,具有了新的意涵。20世纪80年代,发端于美国的现代口述史悄然进入中国,并逐渐被中国史学界接纳,目前其发展正呈现出方兴未艾之势。
From the stories of the ancestors in ancient China that preached their ancestors to the oral history of the society, oral histories of oral histories evolve through the evolution of civilized civilizations of audio-visual recording and video technology and re-enter people’s perspectives. As an independent means of historical narration, the oral history in the modern sense has a clear distinction with the original tradition of oral tradition and has a new meaning. In the 1980s, the modern oral history originated in the United States quietly entered China and was gradually accepted by the Chinese historians. At present, its development is showing an upward trend.
