Global climate change is a hot issue of general concern in the world. The existing evidence including observations and studies shows that the environmental changes in the plateau can affect the climate change. Over the past 30 years, with the continual improvement of the meteorological observation network in the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and the emergence and improvement of new detection technologies such as satellite remote sensing and Doppler radar detection, the research in the field of atmospheric science in the Tibetan Plateau has been rapidly developed.
