诗歌作为一种古老而特殊的文学体裁,无论在东方还是西方都久负盛名。其简洁凝练而又寓意深远的语言给人以视觉、听觉以及心灵上的多重享受。随着中国综合国力的日益发展壮大,中国文化在当今社会备受推崇,诗歌作为中国古典文化中的一块绮丽瑰宝,更是散发着夺目的光彩。因此,如何在古诗翻译中最大限度地再现原诗所呈现的美感,使英语读者也能和原著读者有同样的感受,成为每一位译者的不懈追求。我国著名翻译大家许渊冲教授作为诗歌翻译的代表人物,经过多年的翻译实践,提出了古诗英译“三美”原则。本文从许教授的“三美理论”出发,探究陶渊明诗歌《饮酒》许译版本中是如何实现诗歌的“音美”、“意美”和“形美”的。
Poetry as an ancient and special literary genre, both in the East and West have long enjoyed a good reputation. Its concise and concise language implies far-reaching visual, auditory and spiritual enjoyment. As China’s comprehensive national strength continues to grow and develop, Chinese culture is highly respected in today’s society. Poetry, as a beautiful gem in Chinese classical culture, is exuding an eye-catching luster. Therefore, how to reproduce the beauty of the original poem in the translation of ancient poetry as much as possible so that the English readers can have the same feelings as the original readers and become the relentless pursuit of every translator. As a representative of poetry translation, Professor Xu Yuanchong, a famous translator in our country, put forward the principle of English translation of ancient poems and “three beauties” after many years of translation practice. This article starts with Professor Xu’s theory of “Three Beauties” and explores how to achieve the poetic “beauty”, “beauty” and “beauty” in the translation of Tao Yuanming’s “Drinking” .
