环硫雄醇(Epitiostanol)化学名:2α,-3α-环硫-5α-雄甾-17β醇(2α,3α-Epithio-5α-andro stanol17β-ol),分子式:C_(15)H_(30)OS·1/4H_2O,分子量:311.02。1983年福州大学化学系和福州市医药工业研究所利用龙舌兰制麻废液提取中间产物并合成该药。经化学结构、理化常数和纯度鉴定均符合标准。用小白鼠腹腔注射国产环硫雄醇时,急性毒性试验LD_(50)为1469±88mg/kg。亚急性毒性试验,取成年Wistar 大鼠40只,随机分为4组,每组10只,即:花生油溶剂组、环硫雄醇花生油溶剂低剂量组(5mg/kg)、中剂量组(20mg/kg)和高剂量组(100mg/kg),以上各组动物每天腹腔注射一次药物,于给药40天和60天时,
