前不久,我有幸出席了联合国举办的第四次世界妇女大会’95北京非政府组织妇女论坛。世界各国妇女积极参与的精神及其对全球各个领域的问题的广泛关注,都给我留下了深刻的印象。怀柔变成了小“联合国”按照国际惯例,联合国的大型会议一般都分为政府与非政府两种会议,非政府组织以民间的方式表达意愿,向政府间会议施加影响,是政府会议的辅助部分。这次联合国第四次世界妇女大会的NGO(非政府组织的英文缩写)会场设在北京以北50公里的怀柔县,来自世界各国关注妇女运动的人们飞跃千山万水汇聚在这座长城脚下的美丽小城,怀柔骤然间变得格外热闹起来。8月30日,为期10天的NGO会议在北京奥林匹克体育场拉开了帷幕,参加此次会议的有来自世界各地的2000
