东风4机车运行途中无电压无电流故障出现时,用万能表测量励磁电路上的直流电压可以判断故障处所。但是,运行中的机车摆动大,一人操作不方便,有些万能表交直流档不大好用;另外,临时开箱取表一方面时间长,另一方面不大方便等等,均对迅速判断及排除故障不利,有时不得不被迫停车检查,造成“机破”。为了能迅速找出和排除机车无电压无电流之故障,我们经过长时间的摸索,找到了一种用单试灯检查该故障的方法。单试灯是由一个110伏8瓦的灯泡与在其两端分别引出一根1.5米长带夹导线组成的。单试灯可以放在工作服口袋里,使用起来很方便。
