在早期教育的理论和实践中,一般都重视对儿童进行个别差异的教育,这无疑是正确的。但是,人们在这当中往在忽视了儿童的性别差异问题,这不能不说是一个缺陷。儿童的性别差异主要包括生理差异和个性心理中的性情、感知力、行为、兴趣爱好、想象力以及情绪变化等因素的差异。另外,还有社会和家庭方面对不同性别儿童待遇的差异。在早期教育期间,就密切注视孩子的性别差异,进行针对性的教育,既可以互相汲取对方的长处,弥补不足;也可以避免“男性女性化”、“女性男性化”、“性别同一性障碍”、“异性癖”等不良之处,使男孩子象一个真正的男孩子,女孩子象一个真正的女孩子,让他和她走进各自合适的角色中去,得到更好的发展。那么应该怎样对幼儿进行有性别差异的早期教育呢?试举几例。
