审美经验或曰审美意识是一种文化现象,存在文化差异,中国美学或者说美学的中国化生成于中国人的审美经验与审美意识之中。从审美经验与审美意识作为中国美学合法性依据来看,中国现代转型过程中建构起来的审美经验与审美意识理应成为中国现代美学研究的中心,而当下以现代美学家为中心的美学研究并未涉及这一方向。就中国现代美学研究的拓展而言,以审美经验与审美意识为核心展开,是以期把握中国人现代以来在美学上所发生的深刻转型,揭橥现代中国感性经验中蕴含的心灵与情感图式。
