目前病毒病已成为导致河南省甘薯种性退化、产量下降、品质变劣的重要原因。甘薯经过脱毒一般可增产20％以上,并对其外观、商品性还有所改善。因此,选用脱毒甘薯良种是取得甘薯高产的前提。选用什么品种好,要看市场需求、用途,同时还要考虑当地栽培生态条件,特别是土壤病害现状总的目标是选用抗灾、抗病、优质、高产、高效的甘薯脱毒品种。据河南省甘薯区域试验和多年生产实践可选用以下两大类甘薯优良品种。
