本文从左转车道的设置原则、设置左转车道的常用方式、左转车道的长度和宽度以及对左转车道进行偏移等方面对左转车道的设计问题进行了探讨。笔者认为把左转专用车道分为渐变段、减速段和等候段较为合理,并在计算各段长度时应综合考虑左转的交通量、左转车辆长度和组成指标、行车速度、最小车头时距等因素。同时在条件允许时对左转车道进行偏移可以提高驾驶员的视距。但交叉口的左转是一个很复杂的问题,包括左转的相位与左转车道配合使用等问题还有待进一步的研究。
This article discusses the design of the left-turn lane in terms of the setting principle of the left turn lane, the common way of setting the left turn lane, the length and width of the left turn lane, and the offset of the left turn lane.
