随着认知语言学的发展,表现在各个层面上的象似性原则得到了越来越多的关注。本文通过多个范例,从拟声、形态、语义和词源四个方面探讨了英语词汇层面的象似性,旨在帮助英语教师和学习者有效地认知词汇象似性原则对英语词汇教与学的重大影响,并提出相应的一些教学策略,以便提高英语词汇习得的效率。
With the development of cognitive linguistics, more and more attention has been paid to the iconicity principle manifested in all aspects. This article explores the iconicity of English vocabulary from four aspects: onomatopoeia, morphology, semantics and etymology by a number of examples, aiming to help English teachers and learners to effectively recognize the principle of lexical similarity to English vocabulary teaching And the significant influence of learning, and put forward some corresponding teaching strategies in order to improve the efficiency of English vocabulary acquisition.
