对４种常用的良繁方法作了系统比较研究，发现不同方法生产的原种产量及子棉性状和纤维品质差异均颇小，与中棉所提供的原种无明显差异。表明简易选种法、改良三圃制和自交混繁法与三圃制保纯效果殊途同归。综合比较４种方法，推广初期建议采用简易选种法，便于多快好省繁殖良种，同时设立自交保纯圃，为第二轮及以后良繁打下基础。
A systematic comparative study was made on four commonly used methods of propagation. The results showed that the yield of the original cultivars produced by different methods and the differences in the traits and fiber qualities of the seed cotton were all quite small, which were not significantly different from those of the original cultivars provided by China Cotton. Show that the simple selection method, improved three-nurture and self-bred mixed with three purebred system of pure effect of different ways. Comprehensive comparison of four methods, the promotion of the initial proposal to adopt a simple selection method, to facilitate more good breed breeding faster province, while the establishment of self-protection pure garden, lay the foundation for the second round and thereafter.
