据中国教育官方2003年统计资料,名列影响学生健康主要问题前三名的分别为肥胖、近视及心理健康问题。年龄在5-19岁的中小学生近视眼患病率为45.6%,一些重点中学甚至高达78.6%。竞争日趋激烈的今天,一双明亮的眼睛却成为很多家长的奢望。就此,本刊分别在沈阳、北京和上海三地进行了调查。接受访问的家长共278例。其中,担心孩子视力的占总数98.7%,而非常苦恼的家长占53.6%。
According to official statistics of China’s education authorities in 2003, the top three major problems affecting student health are obesity, myopia and mental health problems respectively. The prevalence of myopia in primary and secondary school students aged 5-19 years old was 45.6% and in some key middle schools was as high as 78.6%. An increasingly competitive today, a pair of bright eyes has become the luxury of many parents. In this regard, we conducted a survey in Shenyang, Beijing and Shanghai. A total of 278 parents interviewed. Of these, 98.7% were worried about children’s vision and 53.6% were very distressed parents.
