培养学生的时间观念,帮助学生记住重要的历史年代,是中学历史教学的重要任务之一。任何历史事件都必然发生在一定的时间里,而且和其他历史事件的发生,在时间上有着先后的顺序。如果我们抽出时间因素,那便无从考察各个历史事件之间的因果关系,也就无从发现历史发展的规律性。中学历史教材里提到的历史年代是很多的,是不是要求学生全部记住呢?我认为不宜太多,要求他们记忆的只能是标志历史发展过程的最重要的年代。以中国历史为例,我认为要求学生记忆的历史年代主要有这几种:
