2,6-二甲酚是重要的化工原料,用于工程塑料与制药工业,目前国内只有少数工厂能进行生产。关于酚类的测定方法,过去大多采用物理的或化学的测定法,即通过测定沸程、凝固点或进行某些氧化还原滴定来确定产品质量。随着气相色谱的发展,不少企业逐步采用色谱法来代替过去的方法。在各种分析方法中,以色谱法最方便、有效,并能同时检测其中可能有的异构体或其它杂质,至于2,6-二甲酚纯度的填充柱气相色谱法,尚未见详细报道。本文采用SE-30固定液可对2,6-二甲酚进行成功的色谱分离,并能同时检测其中可能有的邻甲酚与苯酚。由于酚类异构体较复杂,本文还做了如下工
2,6-Xylenol is an important chemical raw material used in engineering plastics and pharmaceutical industries, at present, only a few factories in the country can produce. For the determination of phenols, the past use of physical or chemical assay, that is, by measuring the boiling range, freezing point or carry out some redox titration to determine product quality. With the development of gas chromatography, many companies gradually adopt chromatography instead of the past method. Among the various analytical methods, the most convenient, effective and simultaneous detection of possible isomers or other impurities by chromatography is not yet reported in detail as packed column gas chromatography with 2,6-xylenol purity . In this paper, the SE-30 fixative can be used for the successful chromatographic separation of 2,6-xylenol and the possible simultaneous detection of o-cresol and phenol.
