Radiotherapy of esophageal tumors is one of the important methods for its treatment. The determination of its short-term efficacy mainly depends on patient complaints, esophageal swallow examination or esophageal radiography. This article attempts to determine the level of hyaluronic acid (HA) in the serum of esophageal cancer patients to understand the short-term effects of radiotherapy. Materials and Methods From March 1994 to June 1994, a total of 69 patients with esophageal neoplasia were treated with 60 Co conventional radiation therapy.
