脂褐质(lipofuscin)聚集是细胞衰老的基本特征之一,脑神经细胞内脂褐质蓄积与学习记忆减退相关。某些药物如氯酯醒(cen-trophenoxine)可减少脂褐质并改善脑功能。吡乙酰胺(piracetam,2-oxo-1-pyrroli-dine acetamide)可改善学习记忆和增强脑细胞代谢,防治脑老化或痴呆。但能否影响神经细胞脂褐质的形成未见报道。本文观察了吡乙酰胺对原代培养的大白鼠脑神经细胞脂褐质蓄积和“空泡”形成的影响。
Lipofuscin accumulation is one of the basic characteristics of cellular senescence. The accumulation of lipofuscin in brain cells is associated with the decline of learning and memory. Certain drugs, such as cen-trophenoxine, reduce lipofuscin and improve brain function. Piracetam (2-oxo-1-pyrroli-dine acetamide) can improve learning and memory and enhance brain cell metabolism, prevent brain aging or dementia. However, whether it affects the formation of lipofuscin in nerve cells has not been reported. In this paper, the effects of piracetam on the accumulation of lipofuscin and the formation of “vacuoles” in primary cultured rat brain neurons were observed.
