Mobil Technologies has developed a patented technology that increases the current capacity of solvent dewaxing units by up to 30%, a factor of 1/3 that required to routinely expand the same capacity. Mobil has confirmed that the process has been industrialized at its Beaumont refinery and that a retrofitted unit has been produced for 5,600 m3 / d for 10 months.
