在园林绿化中,常见到有些树木树干细弱、树冠瘦小、枝散叶疏、叶小花少,给人一种萎靡不振的感觉,并且和同期栽植或相邻的树相比,有明显的生长差距,这种形小而树龄长的树被称为“小老树”。“小老树”在园林绿化中并不是个案,它不仅难以发挥自身应有的生态作用,而且还会影响整个园林绿化的观赏效果。经多年实践,笔者对园林“小老树”的成因进行了归纳总结,并制定了相应的对策。

After years of practice, the author summarizes the causes of gardens and “little old trees” and formulates corresponding countermeasures.
