Through the essay of Wen Zhengming inscriptions, and strive to find the source image of the screen. This paper argues that on the one hand, Wen Zhengming constructs the image of Erh-hua by reference to the handed down “God-given figure”. On the other hand, Wen Zheng-ming also elaborated the details of the picture with the aid of his understanding of the Tang and Song dynasties. These efforts are based on his understanding and understanding of “ancient meaning.” It was precisely because of the various competitions around the “ancient meaning” that prompted Wen Zhengming to try his best to show his attitude in a new way.
