Human calcitonin analogue mhCT 2 was designed and synthesized by comparing the structures of salmon calcitonin (sCT) and human calcitonin (hCT). The intramolecular disulfide bond was obtained by air oxidation, and the product was homogenized by HPLC and capillary electrophoresis.
