This article describes an automated analysis system for microprocessor cerebral blood flow impedance maps. This system measures the impedance information that varies with the pulse of the blood volume caused by the cardiac cycle, and is sampled, quantified, and stored cyclically. Through the external oscilloscope group, the “scroll display” program can monitor the sampling waveform of the memory contents. Through the external cassette recorder can record the digital signal of cerebral blood flow diagram, the system can classify and identify the medical model of cerebral blood flow signal, and analyze its eigenvalues, and finally print the medical records by the micro-printer. This article discusses the system’s hardware components and software design, and gives the initial clinical results.
