本文通过制动定置试验台试验及研究，分析了ＧＫ阀占绝大多数的情况下，普遍开行５０００ｔ级重载列车制动方面的问题，讨论了长大列车初充气、再充气性能与机车供风量的关系；提出了在列车纵向动力学计算中制动缸缓解特性的公式；针对ＧＫ型三通阀在长大编组中缓解次序紊乱，首先提出用阶梯图分析列车缓解时间特性的方法，对缓解波速的解释提出了一些新的概念。
