长期以来,我国大学英语教学以教师为中心,以传输知识为重点,以讲授分析为主要教学方式,形成了一种有知识缺能力的教学结果,造成了教育资源的巨大浪费。近年来,提倡语言使用技能培养的大学英语教学改革对传统大学英语教学模式提出了新的要求。在探索新型教学模式的过程中,马斯洛的需要层次论无疑具有很强的实用指导意义。而作为教学改革主体的大学英语教师更加应该从提升自身素养出发,提升大学英语教学品质。
For a long time, the college English teaching in our country is teacher-centered, with transmission knowledge as the key point, teaching and analysis as the main teaching method, forming a kind of teaching result with lack of knowledge and abilities, resulting in a tremendous waste of educational resources. In recent years, the reform of college English teaching that promotes the use of language skills has put forward new requirements for the traditional college English teaching mode. In exploring the new teaching model, Maslow’s hierarchy of needs undoubtedly has a strong practical significance. As the main body of teaching reform, college English teachers should start from improving their own literacy and improve the quality of college English teaching.
