美国当代作家安妮·普鲁因其自然写作和西部写作而闻名,其作品常被冠以生态文学和自然主义之名。该文以安妮·普鲁颇具魔幻现实主义风格的短篇小说《半剥皮的阉牛》为解读对象,分析这篇小说的两层叙事如何展现人与自然的关系,以及阉牛这一意象的隐喻意义,借此管窥安妮·普鲁的生态思想。该文认为普鲁不仅通过描写环境非正义行为关注非人类生命,而且在文本中置入了自然与城市、原始与文明之间的碰撞与对照,在更深的层面上批判了现代文明对自然的认知暴力。
American contemporary writer Annie Puru, famous for his natural writing and western writing, is often credited with eco-literary and naturalist names. This article takes Anne Proud’s magical realistic style short story “Half-skinned steer” as the object of interpretation, and analyzes how the two-story narration of the novel shows the relationship between man and nature and the metaphor of the steer Meaning, take a peek at Anne Proud ecological thought. The article thinks that Pru not only focuses on the non-human life through the description of environmental injustice, but also imposes the collisions and contrasts between nature and city, primitiveness and civilization in the text, and at a deeper level criticizes the influence of modern civilization on nature Cognitive violence.
