自“毒豇豆、毒豆芽”以及近日广州检测出的镉大米超标等事件曝光以来,农产品质量安全消费一再挑起公众敏感的神经,公众对农产品质量消费安全着实寒颤。因此,我们必须要采取一定的措施来改善农产品质量威胁的这一现状。选择地理标志类的农产品,对老百姓而言,老百姓选择这样的农产品一方面可以通过地理标志了解或查询到产品的生长环境,生产工艺等;另一方面消费起来也更加放心。对企业组织发展而言,申报地理标志的农产品还可依借市场认知和产品声誉背景,通过良好的经营运作,让产品成为驰名商标,不断增强品牌的市场竞争力,受到更强的知识产权保护。
