原有的棉花红铃虫第一、二代测报方法,既烦琐又不准确。省农科院植保所和镇海县农业局病虫观测站为了准确地掌握虫情,及时进行防治,提高防治效果,又作了进一步研究。据试验,利用黑光灯在仓库里诱蛾,可以预测第一代红铃虫的发生期,同时利用黑光灯还能消灭仓库内大量越冬红铃虫。1971年在镇海观察,玻璃管里的越冬红铃虫6月1日开始羽化,6月11日为初盛期,6月17日为高峰期,6月28日为盛末期;黑光灯下观察仓库内越
