20世纪20年代,外国列强对中国的无线电市场进行了激烈的的争夺,其中以日、美最为突出。1921年1月8日,中国政府与美国合众电信公司订立了中美无线电报合同,规定美国在中国投资建立无线电台。中美合同的签定,日本认为侵害其三十年独占权,进行抗议。日美围绕无线电问题展开交涉。
In the 1920s, the foreign powers fiercely contested China’s radio market, with Japan and the United States being the most prominent ones. January 8, 1921, the Chinese government and the United Telecommunications Corporation entered into a Sino-U.S. Radiotext contract, requiring the United States to invest in establishing a radio station in China. China and the United States signed the contract, Japan believes that infringement of its thirty-year monopoly, to protest. Japan and the United States to negotiate the issue of radio.
