Artists and designers found a new artistic expression that uses luminescent fibers - large core polymer fibers developed by Lumenyte International of California, USA. This fiber can either emit light at the end of the fiber as a point source of light or emit light over the entire fiber length. Fiber is no stranger to artists. Over the years, end-emitting fibers have been used to highlight the museum’s most brilliant artwork.
