开发大海中的绿色能源海面受风的作用产生了海浪,月球引力引起的潮汐作用产生了潮涌,热气流引起的海面气压突变产生了气压波,这些波浪使海洋产生了能量。离海岸越远,海浪就越高,越大。在欧洲的北海中,一个一米高的海浪的能量足以能够带动50个电加热器。一般来说,在风区长度大于400公里(250英里)的沿海海域就适合进行海浪能量的开发,而在南、北半球纬度为30度~60度的海域,可以开发出更大的能源。目前有4个公司(英国3个,瑞典1个)正在从事将苏格兰海变为可再生电力资源的研究开发工作,长期开发计划的内容包括利用海浪发电和利用潮汐发电。以因弗内斯为基地的韦弗根(Wavegen)公司正在苏格兰的伊斯菜岛(Islay)上安装500Kw 的 Limpet 涡轮发电机组(见图片),以期为内赫布里底群岛上的居民提供电力。(英国驻华使馆供稿)
Developing Green Energy in the Sea The surface of the sea is affected by wind and waves are generated. The tidal effect caused by the gravitational force of the Moon produces a surge. The abrupt changes in sea surface pressure caused by the hot gas flow generate pressure waves that generate energy in the ocean. The farther away from the coast, the higher the waves, the bigger the waves. In Europe’s North Sea, a one meter high wave is enough to drive 50 electric heaters. In general, coastal areas with a wind zone length of more than 400 km (250 miles) are suitable for the development of ocean wave energy, while larger energy sources can be developed in the sea areas with latitudes of 30 degrees to 60 degrees in the northern and southern hemispheres. Currently, four companies (3 in the UK and 1 in Sweden) are engaged in research and development to transform the Scottish Sea into renewable power resources. The long-term development plan includes the use of the waves to generate electricity and the use of tidal power. Wavegen, based in Inverness, is installing 500Kw of Limpet turbines (see picture) on Islay, Scotland, for residents on the Inner Hebrides electricity. (British Embassy in China contributing)
